Poliția română avertizează cetățenii să se ferească de site-uri false care pretind a fi oficiale, în special cele care vizează cărțile electronice de identitate. Ministerul Afacerilor Interne a anunțat că a identificat un site care imită pagina oficială, clona fiind rapid blocată. Autoritățile subliniază importanța accesării doar a surselor oficiale, avertizând că site-urile care nu se termină cu .gov.ro nu sunt legitime și pot fi tentative de fraudă.

Într-o postare pe Facebook, MAI a reafirmat că pagina oficială a cărții electronice de identitate este disponibilă exclusiv pe domeniul guvernamental. De asemenea, Ministerul a îndemnat cetățenii să evite orice altă pagină care apare pe alte domenii, precum .com sau .ro. Acesta este un avertisment clar în contextul în care tot mai multe activități de impersonare devin frecvente.

Chiar dacă informațiile legate de fraudă par alarmante, reamintirea de a verifica sursele este esențială pentru securizarea identității personale. Autoritățile continuă să monitorizeze astfel de activități și să protejeze cetățenii de posibilele unor escrocherii online.
